Nothing is completely thawed but some of its kinda "soft"...do I need to worry about any meat in there (frozen pizzas, pot pies, etc) spoiling?

I did that once. We ended up having to empty the freezer. :( We had so much meat in there that just went to crap because I was stupid enough not to make sure the old freezer door shut properly :(

Most foods take 24 hrs. to thaw at refrigerator temps. I would think it was colder than that in there.

Just how iced up did it get in there? I know when one of my kids did that it took me hours to defrost it.

if its a pot pie, and its going to get a good 20 min of 350-400f of cooking, id say go for it. Shoot after I get one of those out the oven I usually have to wait 20 min just to eat the thing its so hot.

iced up? none, but many of the food packages (the cardboard ones) are soggy, I assume from condensation. The pot pies get cooked for 60 minutes..im more worried about other stuff though.

edit: thanks

You are going to be fine to eat anything in your freezer today. I would not plan to keep it though. Frozen food that is thawed and then refrozeon is not "at its best".

My suggestion is to have a party and have you friends chip in for food... ;)

Last month bagels were on sale so we bought like 20 bags of them, I didnt close the door all the way afterwords. They got ruined(were hard as a rock even after cooked) I wouldnt really worry about the food, it might taste like sh*t though :)

It's happened to me before. I crammed too much stuff in there and the door opened a bit while it was unattended. Everything got coated with slivers of ice. Food should be fine, safety wise, but don't expect them to have full taste.
