The natinal weather service recently projected the path to hit the entire texas coastline.

So i would say austin could very well be at risk of being hit.

Austin is several hundred miles inland. I think it'll rain a bit. My neighbors' parents are evacuating to Austin, so it can't be that bad.

Austin will probably get alot of rain and TS force winds, but will be spared the worst of it.
