Crap! I'm missing 128MB of RAM!

I've got 512MB, in the form of 2x256DDR chips. Worked fine until today, now its showing as 384!

Put the chips in the outer memory slots. I had the same problem. Damn VIA chipsets . . . :disgust:

And I dont want to turn my computer off, I think my PSU is messed up, cuz last time I worked on the computer, it would turn on, then a second to 10 mins later turn off, no warning, and wouldnt turn back on until I unplugged it long enough for teh little green light on the motherboard to go out. until I got mad and kicked the PSU. THen it worked lol.

Your flamesuit won't save you. What does a finicky Via mobo chipset have to do with the ability of an Athlon CPU?

Although it might be the PSU, I had a friends computer do this 'til we figured out it was the power button.
