I was applying for a job online last night and stopped to make sure I had the right phone number for a reference. I couldn't find the guy's number and the only other person I knew that had his number was asleep so I just decided to close the window and redo it Sunday.

Well, I was just checking my e-mail and I got an auto reply from the company thanking me for submitting my resume.

Crap! I only got half done filling that out, hope it's just a glitch because that is going to look really bad when applying for a tech position.

Update: Well they called me in for an interview today, went well, and it turns out I will get all of thoes benefits since it's a full time job.

God I hope I get this job, the money will be well welcomed!

Yes I'm going to fill out and submit it properly tomorrow but it still sucks that I may have this mess up threatening my chances of getting the job.

Do you really want to work for a company with such a screwed up application program?

* Life insurance policy is a function of annual salary and is subject to some exclusions for pre-existing medical conditions.

Things to consider when comparing jobs with another company ? and we want you to compare!

Many companies require that company contributions be placed in company stock or company selected funds - You can't choose where it goes; with company you can.
Most company retirement accounts (401K or IRA) require a vesting period of several years. If you leave, you forfeit company-matched funds. company vests you immediately.
company has a very aggressive bonus program for over-achievers and employees who bring in additional business.

This will be for a help desk job at a software company my bro-in-law works at.

Replaced business name with "company"

 All that for a mundane job as an info desk person? Unless there's more than meets the eye to the job...

Funny thing with doing a copy/paste find-replace is that:
"has a very aggressive bonus program for over-achievers and employees who bring in additional business" in Google yields you directly to:

Microsoft's UK graduate application requires you to email them a Word document.
It made me laugh, since pretty much every other company has a web based application, and some of them probably run on Windows servers.
