Crap, I think I just drank some potassium oxide...

What the heck am I supposed to do?

Why the hell don't they put warning labels on these bottles?!

[Edit] k2o.jpg 😱

Anyhow, for what it's worth, it's pretty tasty...but too pricy for 5 grams of protein. Got it as part of a promotion...

But that product name is still pretty silly. Don't they have anyone on staff who took junior high chemistry that could have told them that the name K2O was already taken...by nature?

Uh, it's a ceramic.

If you actually did somehow ingest it, you'll probably die. Wiki says it reacts violently with water. That also leads to the question, how did you drink it? Were you drinking some oil-based liquid full of ground-up ceramic? I doubt it.

Ingestion
ACUTE HAZARDS / SYMPTOMS = burning sensation, abdominal pain, shock or collapse
PREVENTION = Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.
FIRST AID / FIRE FIGHTING = Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Refer for medical attention.

I think you're talking about elemental potassium, not the oxide.

I am more amazed that they think protein water sounds better than protein shake.

It's not really a "shake" if you think about a shake being something with milk in it...

Protein juice (though there's nothing close to fruit juice in its ingredients) or protein drink might be more appropriate
