Don't shave against the grain and use a sharp razor. Go over the area you are shaving slowly once or twice max with light but even pressure. That's all it takes. Oh and use a decent quality razor. Disposable bic razors suck for heavy facial hair.

I shave against the grain with Gilette Mach 3. Used to get razor burn in the really dry months it would seem (?)

But its too close a shave to pass up IMO so its worth it :)

During those times I'll only shave every three days

Nuetrogina.
Do a search for razor burn and you'll find a thread. I tried what was recommended, that nuetrogina stuff, and wow. Just...wow.....

How hard is it to shave your nuts? I wouldn't mind getting in the habbit of doing it (I just can't stand the way it looks down there) but I don't want it to take me 3 hours every week.

Its the same as shaving your face. Just apply little pressure, since the hair isn't as thick it doesn't need it anyways. Takes all of five minutes, doesn't need to be done frequently and the ladies love it.

You wouldn't want to go down on an unshaven chick would ya? Help the ladies out and trim that ish.

Hell, get a beard trimmer for the big job and set your guard accordingly, then take a mach 3 and finish the underside. The whole thing takes less than 3 minutes. It's best to do it with dry skin.
