Hi everyone, well I seem to have started getting BSODs I will tryo to prvide as much info on them as I can.

Witrhout all the fluff, this is what I am getting:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Technical Info
*** STOP 0x000000d1 (0x00000106, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xAE3245BA)

*** NVTcp.SYS Address AE3245BA base at AE322000, DATESTAMP 444063c6

And...yeah. I have no idea if this is a driver, windows or hardware issure. Ihave had my video cards OCed, and Im thinking Ill just leave them stock. I see the letters NV in there and I hope to God its only the OC of the Samsung memory on both my cards thats causing this. Going back to stock mem speeds ASAP.

But in the event its not, can ANYONE decipher this crap?

Im going to reinstall windows tonight. I DID notice that my nforce drivers WOULD NOT install unless DX9 was detected on my computer. I have ALWAYS installed fresh like this:

NIC drivers
Chipset Drivers
SP2
DX9c
Video Card Drivers
Sound Card drivers.

Are there any special install proceedure I need to know about for nForce 4 SLI chipsets?

thanks in advance

You didn't install the nvidia firewall did you?

Just it was a source of huges problems once, maybe it's fixed now, I don't know/care, either way, I see NV, and TCP and so I think hmm, Nvidia, TCP/IP related? Who knows.

BSODs have normally been RAM related in my experience. FSB isn't overclocked is it? Does your mobo auto detect RAM timings? May be worth putting in the definate timings in there. You don't have 2x 1GB Crucial Ballistix DDR500 do you? They could just be going bad, as they seemingly all did. lol.

Few things to try/worry about, good luck. 🙂

After doing a quick Google, it seems that that this driver is part of Nvidia's Access Mananger/Firewall service. If you have the Nvidia firewall/NAM installed, uninstall it. Your life can only get better once you remove this horrible crap from your system.

Sorry for the late reply, my work will prolly block the forums if I try to log in.

anyway, I did in fact install that crap on my install. looks like Im reinstalling. hopefully it will help with that problem.

Im running 2GB of Corsair XMS DDR400. Ill take a look at the timings and see what they are set to. I know that the mem I have is CAS 2 latency at stock so Ill have to see whats going on here.

thanks for the help.

*UPDATE*

Well, I reinstalled Womdpws and did not install that NV firewall thing and Im happy to report that I was able to successfully stress test with Prime 95 for 8 hours!

Thanks for all the help!
