"CORSAIR 550w VX Series 12v ATX 80 Plus Certified Power Supply"

"Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0 GHz 6M L2 Cache 1333MHz FSB LGA775 Dual-Core Processor"

What does "is this a decent motherboard" have to do with thread title.

...and to answer the thread title, no, no, you didn't.

Well as far as boards will go Gigabyte is one of the best brands out there. No real idea on how many problems from the 680i the nF7 chip on that board might have inherited, but hopefully none like the majority of the nF7 boards. Anyways it seems like a pretty good board in all honesty, although I'm pretty sure the Geforce 7 integrated boards will be just fine as well for less than half the cost in most cases.

Hello...thanks for the insight... what would you recommend via MOBO wise for integrated graphics that you mentioned?

Thank you.

CPU has a 333MHz FSB, your ram is rated for 400MHz, so that's fine.

Get an Intel chipset motherboard, GIGABYTE GA-EG45M-DS2H looks good if you need microATX and integrated video.

Go for a motherboard with integrated graphics with a G43 or G45 chipset. Those boards are great for HTPC use (Blu-ray decoding, etc), just don't count on any gaming performance at all (as mentioned, this shouldn't be a problem).
