I so do not have $300, hell I wont even have a job during the school year. What does this stuff mean in english!

are these the finance charge terms ?

I don't even like the term "finance charge". Buy only what you can pay for.

it means pay your bill on time and don't bounce a payment.

don't do either and be prepared to bend over and take it.

1. you can put a "hold" on your membership if your doctor gives you a note
2. if you pay 30 days late, they charge you 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance
3. if you are 60 days late, they change the locks
4. if you bounce a check, you owe them an additional $25

What do you mean by "$300"?

If a doctor gives you an excuse, you can get out of your membership. You pay 1.5% interest per month if your dues are late more than 30 days. If you are late more than 60 days, they can cancel your membership. They can increase the dues by giving you 60 days notice; if they do, you are allowed to cancel as of the date the increase takes effect. You can't transfer your membership to anyone else. You can't get a refund of any dues already paid. If you bounce a check and/or if an electronic payment is refused, they can charge you $25 for each time that happens.

The $300 is the amount I will pay assuming I don't get out of this, which I have to. I am abosuletly retarded and should be shot. So, if I don't pay for 60 days, they cancel my membership? Yes this is to sports center.

They cancel your membership... and, quite probably, charge you the $300, plus any fees associated wtih delinquent accounts. That's if you're lucky - they MIGHT charge you the full amount.

Thats the full contract, anyone have any ideas? Whats the worst they can do exactly?

i still don't understand your 300.00 dilemma, but it reads as if you join, you have a 12 month minimum commitment.

what do you think they're going to do? if you don't pay, they'll assess charges, cancel your account, and maybe send a collection agency after you. that's worse than just cancelling and losing your money.

membership is non refundable. enjoy!

EDIT: why do you want out again? they do offer some outs, you'll still be out your money though it seems. how about.. call and ask?

Will you be moving away from the area for the summer or for school? I seem to remember they have to let you break those contracts if you relocate more than a certain distance from the club.

It'll be $300 some dollars if I stay in, I may be able to get a weights class for free at another place.

What do you mean? Does anyone know what kind of proof of relocation I need.
