I was not hindered by adding my classes with a due date or anything. They were all full. Most of the wait lists were maxed out as well.

I've got it all figured out tho. I'm taking 14 units, with a couple evening classes and a Saturday one across 2 campuses. Fun. I guess I learned my lesson.

Yeah, same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago :|...but then I checked the online schedule of classes last night and they added another section of the Java class I need! Woohoo!

I'm still taking a class and a class that requires that class as a prereq at the same time though....the registration system let me register for both and I know a couple people who've taken both classes at the same time and said it wasn't too hard to figure out what was going on. I guess I'll see how that goes...

I've had similar experiences (mostly with G.E. courses) over several of the past semesters because of that persistent need to put things off. If it's a class I really need or want, I just get on the wait-list if possible, and show up to class good and early with an add slip (while the rest of the morons have to stand up, LOL ). Usually talking to the professor a good bit, getting involved in class if the prof. looks for answers in the crowd, along with showing up to class everyday of the class's first two-weeks gets me in the door, wait-list or not.
