Long story, but I broke my ONLY key for my car; and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get the broken pieces to try and form a new one. What am I looking at for a locksmith to make me a new one?

how much they charge per hour * how long it takes them to craft one

there should be a # or alpha-numeric code on the key that they can pull a master from or something and craft it to fit your lock, since most models are farily similar, cylinder design wise

I did that once. It cost me about $100 to get a new key. They get the key code from your glove box key hole. It a bunch of numbers that tell them the model # of the key and where and how deep the notchs are. If you can get the number it may save you some money on the labor.
