I had a couple stall outs last night, most cases it fired right back up and got going except for the last time it stalled out. It stalled and wouldn't start just cranking. I waited about 5 minutes and got someone to help me push it to the side, after we did so they left and i tried once more and it started. No issues since. I got home and now pulled the faults. P0335 which is crank sensor circuit A.

I know this is easily dead obvious replacement and no be done with it or it could be a headache. I looked into my g35 boards and didn't find it to be a common problem.

Car works now so most likely if i ohm out the sensor it should read out right. A crank sensor should be a hall effect sensor if i remember correctly giving out A/C voltage based off teeth. So most likely this is a intermittent issue.

FSM tells me to measure the sensor and harness. But if i dont find a measurement that's off because its a intermittent issue that isn't happening now should i just replace the sensor? And hope for the best. Sensor looks to be $45 w/o shipping from ROCK

I'm a little surprised i dont have a cam sensor fault to go with this.

Fsm says so. I'll get a screen shot later

Cylinder 5 misfire will not cause my car to die, just run rough.

Sorry i'm an idiot, it was P0335 not 355
