Craigslist sellers who sell in bulk

I'm lookin into getting a mac mini, and there's an ad on craigslist that has 10 of them for $3499, making them about $350 a piece, figure I could buy them, keep one, ebay the others. Anyone know if this is some sort of scam or if these bulk sellers are really legit?

I would lean more towards the side of scam.
I have heard of scams where the scammers act as a small tech company with a good deal on an item (usualy laptops) and you place an order for 10-15 of them and they simply disapear with your money.
This sounds very similar.

Don't do it. Unless you have some outstanding reason to believe it's not a scam, $3500 is way to much to risk on Craigslist IMO. Plus, you'd still have to go through the pain of selling them all even if it was legit.

Well...if they'll accept credit payment through paypal, and I can physically pick up the items, I might give it a go. We'll see...

I hate craigslist. All the guys off there are bums who don't keep their word, or are trolls trying to rip you off.

Is it like "yeah x for $200" then you show up and say "yeah, there's a problem. it's $250 now?" cause isn't the whole premise of craigslist that it deals with people in person?

CL is cluttered with scam artists. Just use common sense, realize that anyone can start an ad in your "hometown" and that it really isn't monitored.

Of course....best deal I ever got off craigslist was 5 sprint treo 650's a year ago for $250 a piece. Turns out they were from a government office switching to another carrier. I bought them all and sold 4 and made money even after keeping one for me.
