Craigslist question

I googled my question and just can't find any answer. I placed my motorcycle ad on craigslist and I want to move it so it looks to be posted today instead of yesterday. Just like bumping your for sale thread on here. Thanks.

Supposedly this. I used to "bump" my post all the time and never had it deleted. But it's been almost a year since I posted anything on craigslist.

Don't post a new one every day. People will flag your post so quick. Post a fresh ad with a fresh price every week -- NOT every day.

Make sure you delete your old posts.

To do this: You received an email in your inbox that links you to your ad's management page. From there, copy the posting details and DELETED the post. Then make a new post, paste the text, and submit it.

As a buyer it's so f'ing annoying to see post after post of the same exact listing in your search results.

That.

I look at CL everyday and love perusing car deals even if I have no intention of buying anything. Seeing the same lameass annoying ad makes me want to flag it as spam / overpost.

edit: It might be helpful if at the bottom of your ad you add something like "search terms:" and then things like price points, similar car makes or models, etc. Lets say you are selling a 1993 300zx for $6700; you might add nissan, mitsubishi, $5000, $6000, $7000, $8000, mustang, camaro, 3000gt, supra and similar so that people might consider yours. Just an idea. Also, they have free CL counters so you can see how many people viewed your add.

And if you havent already, compare your car to competition and see if you are competetive.
