Or if you're posting an ad for a house for rent, this isn't helpful:
2 BED Row House, end unit with yard, Westside, $500+.

Wow, great. So where is it? Address? Anything? Nah, no one wants that.

It's ok, people. Information is not your enemy. :)

People are still stupid though. When I was selling my PS2 I included pics, model number, measurements, etc. But I still had a lot of emails "is this the slim 1???":colbert:

Even emailing for more info doesn't work all the time - copied / pasted email convo:

About a place to live...

Me -
What does the free rent entail?

Who covers lawn care & snow removal?

Can I see where this is located on a map?

How many square feet excluding basement?

What are the dimensions of the master BR?

Any additional information you may have would be useful.

Thanks.

Him:
you can come over to see it if you like, thanks!

//... Ok i'll try sending ONE more email...

Me:
I live in Michigan currently. Do you have no information as to my questions?

Thanks.

Him:
Hi there,

The "free rent" is based on the lease term. The bedrooms are big. If you like to see the place please call 608-xxx-xxxx while you are in Madison, thanks!

Awesome. Not going to sell anything that way, prick.

I always try to include a reflected image of my genitalia in my craigslist images. Keeps people on their toes.

PSA: When linking stuff from CL take an actual screenshot instead of linking the post. This way we know wtf you're talking about 2 days from now when the posts are gone.

Or, you know, you could say in your ad call me or email me for more information......kinda like the ad says.

QFT...most really don't care about model numbers though when browsing CL...chances are they are looking for something cheap that's working.

But OP, you are more 'tarded for direct linking anything on CL. Like others have mentioned no one is going to know WTF you are talking about in a couple days...

Well, the sub is either a Klipsch sub-10 or sub-12.

The speakers are pretty generic looking, I have no idea :p

i'm selling a car...it has 4 wheels and it's blue

call me for more information

Not quite. This would be true if Onkyo was left out of the ad. So, you're selling a four door ford escape. Since we all know escapes (like 7.1) hasn't been out terribly long.

I consider myself lucky when I don't have to turn my head sideways to read a picture of the product information that they needed to rotate 90 degrees to be upright.

ok, i'm selling a blue honda, it has 4 wheels and a radio

including the model name is pretty much like including the model number, so i won't give you points for that one
