We are selling some stuff prior to our move out and man, some of these people will do anything used stuff. My gf got home early to sell the bed and the guy that came started yelling at her because she would not hold it for him. She said she will hold it if he pays atleast half and he said, "no, i do not trust you with my money!". Then, another guy, who wants a vanity get notice that it was sold and he sends a nasty email to my gf asking why she sold it when he was interested. What is it with these people, first come first serve. I am not gonna hold it if you cannot pay for it.

there are enough mean people around. you don't need to go looking on the internet to find them thats for sure

Well, to be honest.........so far I've been rather disillusioned w/ Craigslist.

I've literally tried to contact no less than 6 different car sellers on there and NOBODY has responded!!!!!!!!!!!!

To top that off...........half the folks don 't post mileage, pics, etc. Why even bother??????

Craigslist is full of scammers too. I put a laptop up for sale and I received four African scams in just one day. The stories these scammers make up are beyond retarded.

"I'm from the states but I am currently in Europe on business at the moment.................please ship the laptop to West Africa."

If the first person to call/email you has serious interest, but they can't come look at it until after work or something, I think it's common courtesy to keep them at the front of the dibs list.

Buy polite, or fvck off. 🙂 Sounds good to me. Hell, if it were my way, I'd have metal plates installed in front of the counter at fast food joints, and you have to walk in barefoot. If you are rude to the people behind the counter, they can shock the sh!t out of you. They have better day, so other people have better days, and it all trickles from there. And no, I don't work in fast food. 🙂
Tas.
