So I'm batting the idea around of picking up a cheap car to repair and flip and came across a 93 Altima with the following info in its ad :

this has sat for eight months it runs and drives with a jump the interior is nice with no major rips or tears the tires all need air but they are all newer tires the motor and transmission are excellent the car is priced to see at 300.00 firm yes you can drive it away i have the title in hand

Now the car was only 300. Anything that runs and drive for that price is somewhat surprising. The next day, this (duplicate) ad is posted :

can not remember where the title is thats not a big deal you can get a duplicate one at the rmv for 25.00 the windshield is cracked the interior is very nice all the tires are new the car does run and drive but it needs a battery the vehicle should be towed away not driven

Wow, that story changed quick! I like how not having a title is "not a big deal" 😉

I can sell you a Porsche 911 Turbo for $300, the only problem is I dont have the title for it. It is not a big deal. The car is parked in the next town over.

And when you come over to pick it up the drivers side window is smashed and he hands you a screw driver to start it...

If you have the keys, I'll take you up on it.
