discussion forums and job posting sections are excellent, everything else is blah. But hey, you get what you pay for.

Big nay for me. Almost nothing but terrible deals & scammers. It takes a bit to find a bargain by sifting through all the crap.

isn't there to post somthing for sale in some all-encompassing "global" category? I don't see the point in letting you only post in one region if you can ship the items anywhere.

Craigslist is excellent, their business model is similar to googles (don't be evil), but is based more around the idea that it's made by the people for the people. Craigslist is so awesome.

I had to sell some items quick before I moved back from my internship. Used craigslist, and most of them sold.

Big aye! I just sold a system and made almost $150 profit and bought his old clunker(for $20 bucks) which would not boot up. It was a emachine running a Celeron 1.1 ghz chip with 128 megs of memory, 56k modem, 20 gig hard drive, floppy drive, intergrated video and sound chip, cdrom and 52X cdrw burner. He tried to install Norton Systemworks and the PC would not boot. I just reformated the drive and all is well. This was all happening on last Friday and today I picked up three 17 inch monitors(E773C Dell, Compac 7550 Flat and a HP p1499A) for ten bucks and they all look new. For every deal I do on buy and sell here, I do about six times more deals on Craigslist.

Oh yeah, I picked up a Fuji 4.0 digital camera yesterday( less than a week old) for $100 bucks here on Craigslist...

"I want to sell a used refrigerator... works ok, it's lime green. $50."

Yeah, it's worth shipping that halfway across the country.

found my apartment there (dam slick realtor), got a bed (it was new :)), used dvd player for free, and a nice living table.
