Anyone use Craig's List to sell stuff? What's your success rate?

Its pretty good. Lots o' lurkers. Cheaper than ebay, and you can pretty much sell anything.

I use craigslist fairly often with great success. I've sold everything from a $10 tennis rackett to several hundred dollars worth of theater tickets, but I primarily use it to buy. here in the bay area everyone uses and is familiar with craigslist, so it might be easier than where you are. usually the hardest part for me is finding convenient times/locations to meet...

i sold my new dell4600 for a decent price. better than egay in some areas since they came by to pick up so i didn't have to bring that big ol' box to the post office.

I like it. eBay will typically fetch you a better price (because people will typically want to haggle in person), but I like the ease of use (easy to list, no shipping, buyer pays cash).

So far I've listed:
74 VW Super Beetle - sold in 2 weeks
Lifesized Spiderman statue - no sold
Storage room full of free old computer equipment - "sold"
2 Dell P1500 Laser printers - sold first day
Creative MuVo2 - sold in 3 days

Right now that puts me at 80% success rate.

I had no bites on my Fender Strat that I put on Craigslist, but I found a killer ass deal on an Ibanez guitar + amp which I'm picking up Thursday :) I like it!

i've sold some stuff on it. you get a lot of flakes -- people who don't show up when they say they will... but on the whole it works good, is free, and you can put as much in your add as you want.

It all depends on what your selling, if it's something obscure or not all that great then you may not hear anything, but if it's a good deal or practical item, it can go within minutes.
