craiglist is one of those diamonds in the rough on the net, isn't it? :)

Actualy its more like a hooker.
It may not look great, but it gets what you need, but you never quite know what you will end up with.

It's always something new and interesting...

CL makes me angry with all the fvcking retards that contact you after you list something. Then I realize I live in the same city as all these people and it makes me depressed. 🙁

CL is raw humanity at its finest, love it or leave it... the closest thing that we have to the ancient Forum... complete with jackasses getting on their "Rants and Raves" soapbox, lol.

so i called asking about an apartment this past weekend. i get greeted with:
"HOW THE ****** DID YOU GET THIS NUMBER?!"

i explain the whole craigslist thing. he apologized and said he didn't want to tell people off but it was getting out of hand. apparently someone either put down the wrong number or was goofing on him. either way, i imagine he received A LOT of calls in the time the listing was up.

Probably happens a lot. Like I see this 2003 RSX for sale for like 9k with no email, but a number. I have a feeling its not a scam but a prank since there is no email, and the number is local.
