You're right, the flyer I got in the paper says 11/13. Not sure which is right...

Not nearly as good as a regular vise. I suppose some people could need a very lightweight vise to take to construction sites (although those sorts usually have a real vise).

I have a question that is sort of off and sort of on topic. I need like a small vise - just something that can essentially clamp a curtain rod to a window sill (try and picture it). I can't do anything else because the ceiling is concrete and the window sill is aluminum (why magnets won't work). Any suggestions?

Use a C-Clamp. It won't be pretty but it should do the trick.

How about an adjustable shower curtain rod?
