Craft the World is surprisingly fun.

Just started playing this game off and on, ended up playing 2 hours last night. After you get past the weird UI its actually fun game. I think it still being updated as well.

It was one of those games I dismissed cause i got on steam sale I think, and did not like the UI, decided to learn it tonight after watching someone play it on twitch and now im hooked. lol

Have you played it? I don't understand how anyone that's played even 5 minutes of the game could compare it to minecraft.

Havent played it, but I saw the screenshots and the dirt blocks are identical to minecrafts. Plus its called craft the world, so im assuming its at least loosley based off of MC.

Nothing like it, minecraft followed every 2d game before it with the blocks. That is just how those games are made.

This game is actually kind of its own thing, not really sure if any other games like it, you can control each dwarf, each one has to eat/sleep, each can get certain spell, stats, have to equip each one separately, etc.

Its pretty in depth game, and fun to boot.

The game really looks nothing like minecraft and the gameplay is nothing like minecraft. Check out a game play video, it's very different. It's like saying minecraft is a warcraft clone because they both have craft in the name.

For those interested, they released a Alpha version of Craft the World that adds Multiplayer PvP for players! You can do Steam matching for pvp or pick friends to play with against killing a boss to win the game.

I have problems finding games atm, because its only been out a few days and alpha not many people know how to install betas with steam i guess.

They also updated settings to game, you can now choose more monitor sizes so game scales better (was limited to 1900x1200 before) for 4k users.

Got this game on sale last year. Wasted a week on it. I remember using a mod some posted on the steam forums. Nice to see they're still adding features.
