Crackling through speakers

Hi

Every few minutes I get an annoying crackling through my Logitech X-230 2.1 speakers. Sometimes, it will be spontaneous and other times related to bumping my desk (even very lightly). I sometimes get it through headphones too.

I use the motherboard sound (Gigabyte GA-965P-S3).

Any suggestions as to why this happens? Is there anyway to stop it e.g. independent sound card?
 
Thanks, but I think I've found a solution... muted line-in on the volume panel.
