Crackling speakers during mp3 playback

I recently had a problem with my video card and had to ship it back to gainward. While it was out I installed the video driver for the onboard video on my Intel 845gebvl2. When i got the vid card back and reinstalled it, the video problem was gone but now my speakers crackle when ever I play a song. Could this be related or just freak coincidence. Someone told me to uninstall the Intel graphics driver because it might be causing a conflict. I went to control panel and clicked on remove but it didn't do anything. I got the "wanna restart" box and i did, but when i came back the intel graph driver was still listed. Anyone know how to get rid or it so we can see if that's causing the crackling?
