crackling sound after adding memory

hey guys, here is my setup:

amd 3800+ x2
a8n-e mobo
sapphire x1600xt
ocz 2gig mem
550 antec psu


i added 2 more ocz gigs of ram so it could have a total of 4 (its max). in noticed i hear crackling with the speakers now. while debuggin i tried different pci slots and updated the driver. the sticks of ram are the same pc3200 ddr, however, the outer casing look a little differnet. it could be becasue of a design change, i purchased tghis machine over 3 years ago.

when i take out the ram the crackling stops. any idea why or what the problem is?

i ran a program that gvies me the specs on the memory just to be sure. it seems everything is the same except the part number, so i dont think that's an issues. the screenshot can be view here:
