Crackle in TV speakers when trying to play Dead Space on PS3

I have a LG LCD and using the speakers that are built into the TV.

I am trying to play Dead Space on PS3, and when there are explosions and certain other sound effects, my speakers begin to crackle with this loud stack-like sound. They are not turned up all the way. In fact, as I increases or decrease volume, the volume of crackle does not change. It's always pretty loud. And it's only with certain sound effects and voices that cause this. Some work perfectly normal.

I don't experience this problem with the few other games I played or with any of the movies.

Any of you guys know what can cause this?

Problem Solved.

For those of you with similar issues in any other games, it stems from incorrect audio output on the PS3. Mine was set to Dolby 5.1, while the TV speakers are just stereo. As a result, the TV gets input that it cannot effectively process, resulting in crackling output (I would likely blame the lower frequencies). Setting PS3 audio output to stereo fixed the problem.

Hey phexac, I'm getting that same problem, although I cant figure out what exactly the right "stereo" setting is. What did you change it to exactly? there are a ton of choices.
