Cracking Cruise ship photo encryption?

Has anyone ever known anyone or done this themselves?

I went on a cruise, they gave me a CD With all my photos professionally taken around the boat. The software only allows "5" to download (it connects to a server and informs it of 1-all photos).

All the files are hidden and in .enc format. A small thumb nail in .jpg is available....but I have exhausted all my tricks to get my pictures (about 250.)

Anyone able to help?

While I agree with you that $30 per photo isn't reasonable, asking for help circumventing encryption isn't allowed here. -Admin DrPizza (Also, in the OP, it's "they gave me" and in your reply below, it turned into "I paid for.") If it's $30 for a picture, then it seems the CD would have access to more than 5 pictures for the price you paid. Thus, it seems your best avenue to pursue this is with the cruise line.

Pay for the files. You're asking for help on how to pirate a product owned by a business. If you wanted free pictures, you should have taken them yourself.

Thanks Lovemachine. It sounds like you are the exact person I was looking for.

Perhaps you haven't been on cruise, the ship pays people to walk around and snap photos of you all day, every day, with or without your permission.
The photos cost money, For a .jpg file and run $30 per photo. That is not reasonable. I payed $250 for the CD with 5 photos on it with a special they had.

So again, it sounds like you aren't the person to be responding.
I guess if i wanted someone to help with getting free pictures, I should have clarified to avoid you wasting each others time.
