Crackdown for Xbox 360

I just rented this game and thought I would come here for fast help. Me and my brother are wanting to play co-op but can't seem to figure it out. Can you not play co-op on the same console?

i believe you can only play co-op on xbox live. i dont think the game supports any kind of split screen mode.

Xbox.com says it's 1-2 players but I don't see how.

yes, on xbox live you can play 2 players.

it says 1-2 players but it means Xbox Live 1-2. I think the Green bars on the back of the box are single player, the orange boxes are xbox live.
