Maybe this is a real duh! question...

How do you wire the mobo to start up as soon as power is supplied?

as far as i know u can just short together the power pins on the mobo, where you would have normally connected the power switch. If you are building a crack rack though u might want to put a switch on the first PC and wire some relays off it's power supply and connect these to the other PC's. That way when u power on the first PC all the others would power up.

Th green wire, and any black wire is what Aiex is speaking of. They must stay connected.

the green and black is for the power supply..................usally two end pins on the edge of the m/b where the case wires connect will be the power start pins....like what has been said.....short them for a sec.....

I've been known to just 'short' the power supply pins on the MOBO with a screwdriver,letter-opener(metal one), or some such object :D

best way is to install a switch on one of the mobos and 2- 12v relays to that switch and output a neg
from both to all the power pins on all the other mobos. Just use a common ground input for both relays.

then when you start the first one they all start at the same time.:D

Basically output of one realy to power pin 1 of all the m/b and output of other relay to power pin 2 of the mobos.

you don't really have to put the switch on the first mobo, just to the relays , and then output the relays to all mobos. :)

Speaking from experience, reset switches/cables stripped from old junk AT cases work great for this. ;)
