Wow, I think they're one of the best rock bands around today...they're truly one of the only bands who aren't changed by commercialism...their lawyers sued Napster a couple months ago and had a bunch of people banned, and in retaliation, RATM put up a bunch of songs in MP3 format on their website.

Yep, I have a remix that he did where he put a nice beat and some turntablisms to an already awesome song- I was impressed to say the least. (check it out on Napster- Dave Matthews Band Crash Into Me DMX remix)

Ah well, here are some cr@ppy musicians, IMO:

Madonna--not a musician, an ok singer though most of her songs suck, she couldn't dance if her life depended on it

Most rappers--some are pretty good and have some originality and poetic abilities, but most sound like the next guy/gal and their poetic ability extends no fuurther than words that rhyme(re: have no logical point, the words just rhyme)

Britney Spears--she looks good(I feel like a dirty old man saying that ), I even think she sounds ok, it's just that all her songs sound the same to me. Especially her hit songs.

All musicians who need to have the following words in every line of their lyrics: b1tch, fvc5, whore, nigg3r(don't give a damn(oops) who uses this term), etc. Musicians that use those terms should be on Prozac, not on Tour!

Most Pop &quot;artists&quot;--originality hasn't existed in this genre since WW2. How many times can the same crap be re-heated and served as new? I dunno, but the recording industry seems to be conducting an extensive study to find out.

Actually, I just realized something! I hate the majority of all musicians of every musical type. On the flipside, I like some musicians from every musical genre. Whether that be rock, pop, rap, country, classical, metal, and Celtic all genres have gems that are worth finding.
