Cpuz says dual channel ram is not dual channel

I recently built a new system using ocz gold ddr2 800 ram. the ram is a dual channel ram, but cpuz says its single channel. But, it lists both 2GBs. How do i enable the dualchannel part?

It's not the memory feature.

Dual Channel must be supported by your chipset, and it does that automatically when you install 2 or 4 matching RAM modules.

im using a gigabyte p35-ds3r and it says it uses dual channel ram.

Install 2 x 1 GB modules of matching RAM and check again.

Put them in the same color slots.

they are the same thing....its ocz gold dual channel ddr2 800 slots and they're in the same colored slot....maybe i shud try putting it in the other 2 slots on the mobo (right now its at slot 3 and 4, i did that to put it away from the cpu as not to cramp up system and put heat)

Put them in 2 yellow slots on your MB - just looked at the picture on Newegg.
