cpuz report timings from my settings

Hello,

I am using the P4P800-Deluxe, and i recently got two sticks of Kingston ValueRam KVR400X64C3A. In the BIOS i set the timings to 3-4-4-8, however, when i read the timing from cpu-z, it's saying 2.5-3-3-6. I've been running prime95/superpi for half a day so far without problem. Do you think cpu-z reports the wrong value? Or i set it wrong in the BIOS? (I am sure i set it to manual and to 3-4-4-8. Can any other setting mess it up?)

On a related note, in general how well can this RAM achieve in terms of timing at 200MHz?

Thanks!

Check the BIOS and confirm it is what you think it is.

if it is, try another program such as sisoft sandra and see how it reports, it may be different.

CPU-Z and SiSoft sandra both report 2.5-3-3-6. I double checked my BIOS, it says 3-4-4-8. Do u think it's software problem? hardware problem?
