ok i got a t-bird and i was wondering how do i clean the core(from a heatsink compund)?

also im getting a new t-bird soon and i wanted to try artic sliver 2. i went to there site for instructions and its seems very HARD. i thought all you had to do was put a dab on the core and slap a hsf on it.

Depends on what heatsink compound is on there. I find that Nail Polish Remover works the best for taking of AS2. For taking of thermal tape you'll need a razor blade since stuff really sticks on there.

Put a dab on and use a credit card to smooth it out. Remember to keep the coat of AS2 as thin as possible. That's it. Not too hard once you do it a couple times.
