HI All

I havnt ordered anything from this company in quite awhile. I attempted to order a Intel 2.6 800fsb today. Before u actually place an order a agreement screen pops up. According to this agreement Newegg will not allow a purchaser to return a cpu if the pins are bent. Is this standard policy throughout the industry??? Should I go ahead and order from these people because their 5 bucks cheaper or order from some other company??

Thanks for the Help

Whats the big deal? You're not planning on bending any pins (I hope) so don't worry about it. Newegg's service has a great reputation...order from them with confidence.

If you are scared to order from Newegg, you definitely don't want to order from any other online company. Newegg is about like Wal-Mart, man. If you bought it from them, they'll pretty much take it back, no matter what.

dont compare newegg to wal-mart. its a sin 🙁

I shop for all kinds of food @ wal-mart, and shop for all kinds of hardware components via newegg.... hmm similar in a way :heart:

Frys has the best return policy ever. When I was a noob I returned a burned cpu there and they didn't care. Oh man...everyone who works there is a Fob so they are very gullible.

Fry's = too spendy.
And the analogy of Walmart and Newegg is not that far off... they both get the job done for sure! Although a personal visit to Walmart has been know to cause insanity, in rare cases... ;-)
Newegg comes with the highest regard from this consumer...
