Cpumark99 scores for K6-2 550 low.

System seemed to be running slow, so decided to check it. I was getting 15.8, then made a couple changes in the bios and got it up to 20.5. I've seen some other scores above 30. This seems pretty low to me. My A7V/600@840 gets 73.5. Any ideas as to what could be causing the slowness? Motherboard problem, cpu, bios or ????

FIC VA503+ ver 1.2a (latest bios)
K6-2 550
64m pc100 or 96m edo (same results)
voodoo3 2k pci
win98se

ps: Just wondering if a fresh install would help. I replaced a ver1.0a va503+ and didn't reinstall. It found everything ok.

That k6-2 seems to be the problem, or the video card

where do you get cpumark99? is it a free download? i'm curious to see what my PIII 500E gets

I'm beginning to wonder also about the video card. Seems like the scores are lower than they use to be. I've tried different drivers and get no changes. Maybe its time for a change.

I did a search on lycos for "cpumark99 download" and went to the site and downloaded it.
