I used to use CPUcool with my K7S5A and 1.4T-Bird since the ECS didn't offer any overclocking values and the overclocking bios seemed to be hit or miss. I thought it worked quite well, it provided temp monitoring and allowed me to run 147fsb synch for 1.54ghz and if it was pushed too high you could just reboot and all was well. Haven't used it in a long time since I exclusively buy tweakers boards for myself now but I'm certain it's still a good tool.
