CPU-Z Memory timing not matching BIOS

New build. Downloaded CPU-Z just to check it out.
BIOS is displaying 9-9-9-24 both channels.
CPU-Z (Memory tab) reporting 11-11-11-28
I did try one thing in BIOS which was switch to XMP profile but BIOS and CPU-Z still reported those same timings.

Thanks for any light you may shed.

-Windows 7 Home Premium 64
-G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL

-Gigabyte GA-h77n-wifi

-Ivy Bridge i5-3570k (I know mobo is not Z77. I only got the unlocked processor because it was available for cheap at my microcenter).

-EVGA GTX 760 SC

Same issue with incorrect cpu-z memory SPD and timings information for me as well especially on newer laptops. I would trust what your BIOS reports instead. I haven't found a decent alternative, at least on laptops, aside from Thaiphoon Burner for reporting accurate SPD information. As for actual RAM timing, try checking your motherboard's website to see if they have any informational tools that run within Windows.
