CPU-Z Info question

Hi,

I just got a new Phenom II 920 and the CPU-Z information is a bit strange. I am seeing the cores only running at 800 Mhz is that due to the low V-core? This is the default BIOS setting after having to update my BIOS to support the chip.

Probably from power-saving. While at idle, the cpu will run in "low power" mode. Run something more demanding and you should see the cpu run faster.

Yep that seems to be it, must be the Cool n Quiet. Nice to see them all run at 2.8 Ghz.

Now is the V-core too low? That a problem? People have said the default V-core should be about 1.3 V.

Vcore's fine. Sometimes motherboards over-volt/under-volt a little bit. Run something like Prime95 or OCCT for an hour, and if one of the cores stops, then boost Vcore by a notch, in the BIOS.
