Okay, I'm running a Pentium D 805, completely stock, on a crappy ASROCK 775-TwinsHDTV (until I can afford a nice mobo and 2Gb of DDR2, anyway).
I bought it new and plan to overclock in the future once the rest of the system is up to it. Having heard good things about the B0 revision, I thought I'd get CPU-Z to tell me what I have. Turns out I do have a B0 chip - good for the future!
However, I did notice that the VCore reading was about 2.6v - this seems impossibly high to me, especially since everything is on factory settings. Given that the default VCore is about 1.3v, is it possible that CPU-Z is over-reading somehow? Wouldn't 2.6v fry an 805 if that were the actual voltage?
