CPU-Z and relation to core speed/fan question

Running a AMD phenom II 955 BE @ 3.2ghz stock speed and cooler, no need for me to OC it as its performing wonderfully for my needs. Problem is, CPU-Z shows under the clocks section on the main CPU part, core(s) 0, and it shows 803.5mhz with a mutil of 4x. Okay, I get that, 3.2ghz.

Well I had a random freeze with win 7 and the screen went black and that was it, i had nothing else. So I reset it, go back in to check things out on the HW monitor from them too, and then CPU-z shows 3215mhz with a 16x multi, then it dropped to a 21xx mhz, then back up to 3215mhz, now is back stablized at 803. While it did this my temps were about 10-11c higher then normal, now all is back. Normal I mean as web browsing, itunes running and simple stuff. Gaming it reaches 55ish, so well within specs.

Just wondering how that worked out there though, seems odd but maybe it scrolls something showing totals and I saw that?

My mobo is a gigabtye ga-ma770t-udp3 v1.0 with the bios that came with it, nothing changed except boot options.

Also, HW monitor also reported from FANIN0, which I am guessing is the CPU cooler since I have seen it spin as high as 5k rpms, that it ran at 0rpm, and then I watched it do this and it was for a split sec then its 'normal' range in the 2k area.

Any ideas here?

Well, Im an idiot. Of course when it wasnt pressured it wasnt load it was saving power. 3.2ghz for each core would be normal and thats where my temps come up but stay alright. Ill keep an eye on my cooler though, so far so good it hasnt spiked down to 0 again.
