Hi All,
I have been following Zebos basic OC guide and am concerned that even with mild OC from stock 200 x 12 at 1.34v I am having to up CPU voltage to 1.40v to get a prime 95 stable 217 x 200.
I had been advised that "in general" you should be able to OC by as much as 10% on stock voltages, but mine bombs out everytime (even running 3DMark06) with CPU anything over 210 x 12 unless voltage is at 1.40v (even happens at 1.385v setting).
Question 1. - is this normal?
Question 2. - where is best to check CPU/MOB temps, as Asus Probe (came with MOB) shows as high as 52C CPU after 20 minutes of prime 95 (twin instances), but SIS SAndra shows mid 30's! and BIOS shows High 30's????
Question 3 - at what point does temperature pose a threat to these A64 x 2 CPU's?
Thanks for any answers.
