CPU voltage resets after coming out of sleep

Gigabtye 780 mobo with a 620. I manually undervolt the 620 because the "auto" setting pushes 1.5v through a 1.4v chip. When you boot, the CPU vcore is my setting. If the system sleeps (s3), and resumes, then the vcore basically resets to auto. Note that the bios setting does not change back to "auto" but the supplied volts do. If you reboot, the manual vcore is used until the next sleep.

If the auto voltage wasn't so high, I wouldn't care so much, but the max listed for the CPU is 1.425v.

Ideas?

Vista 64 - though I doubt that matters
This is with CNQ/C1E on, and with CNQ on/C1E off, CNQ off/C1E on, and with both off.
