Greets all.
I am having serious issues with heat right now with my 1.4 GHz T-bird system.
I checked around BIOS to make sure my settings were correct.
I have the CPU Vcore set to 1.75 V, which is the recommended setting for the 1.4 GHz Athlon t-bird.
HOwever, when I check the PC Health and Status section, i notice the Vcore is listed as 1.85 V.
I also tried installing a CPU temp monitor, which also listed the CPU voltage at 1.85 .
If i manually set the Vcore to 1.75 V, why is the system pumping in 1.85 V?
That may be the source of my heat problems...
I appreacite the help
