I've got an Asus CUV4X and it supposedly allows jumperless vcore adjustments. I want to try and make my Celeron 433 stable at 541 (it currently is stable at 520 at 2.05v setting - 2.02v to 2.04v fluctuating). When I set the vcore to 2.10v, it will not post completely but it will get into the BIOS, where a quick check shows that the voltage is still fluctuating between 2.02v and 2.04v like the 2.05v setting. It appears that any setting over 2.05v makes absolutely no difference! What I want to know is why? Is the motherboard monitor lying or what? Do I have a bad power supply? Any help is extremely appreciated.
