CPU VCORE

Guys I have a MSI KT266 PRO2 mobo and XP1900+ cpu, the problem I am having is no matter how HIGH I set my VCORE to it will never get pass 1.79. Is this a motherboard problem ? If I set it to 1.75 it will be like 1.68-1.73. At first I thought its my power supply but then even if I unplug everything I mean the power connectors (CD ROM, HARD DRIVES,) the vcore will still not pass 1.79. I am thinking maybe this mobo is defective cuz this is my second one already the first one i got had no problem going up to 1.85.

P.S. I have a 400 Watt power supply from RAIDMAX

We've been getting the opposite problem with the MSI boards...
All of our latest shipments of Athlons have been TBreds, and the MSI boards won't clock the VCore low enough to work with them (getting almost a 100% NG rate). Even on word processing, the temp is at 52C and up...usually well into the 60C range during game play.

Cheers,
Charles
