CPU validation tests for AMD & Intel?

I am really curious, what kind of programs do AMD & Intel use to validate their CPUs?

I assume they have custom in-house software that they run 24/7 for X months * Z # of machines ?

I also assume they have different tests for server chips vs desktop, or do they use the same tests, but do X + Y months * Z # of machines ?

I saw that AMD has their "stability tester" in their AOD program, is that the same one they use in-house for their validations ?
