I noticed that while demuxing and rebuilding HDDVD content with EVOdemux 0.626 my cpu hovers around 15-20%. I'm running an opty, and I thought that everyone was raving about quad-core because it could recode faster, but apparently my CPU isn't really needed that much. If the GPU is doing the work, or it's just limited by HDD read/write or RAM, then why is a quad so much better? Just because you can run tons of demuxers at once? I mean, most people don't have multiple HDDVD drives! What gives here?
