CPU Utilization Increase When Connecting to Share

I've had a strange issue come up and I'm stumped. We have three servers running Windows Server 2003. All of them are HP Proliant DL385. Two of them are 64 bit AMD. The other, that we can call Server A is 32 bit. On Server A there is a share with some 30 GB of data. When either of the other two servers connect to that share their CPU utilization jumps to 50% and stays there. Task manager says it is the System process that is hogging the CPU. Oddly, when other systems connect to that share this doesn't happen.

All servers have the latest OS patches, firmware and driver support packs installed. Any suggestions are appreciated.

No. The two 64 bit servers can connect to each other ok. It only goes wonky when connecting to the third server. I can also get on other servers and connect to the third server without having the problem. It seems to be limited to this particular combination of servers.
