i am running Celeron 300 OC to 450 for 2 yrs now, time to upgrade, i dont know if my ram can handle 133mhz , so my choice limited to 100 FSB. my question is can i just get a slot1 PIII 850Mhz to my BH6 Rev 1.0 or i have to get a socket 370 CPU 850/900Mhz and a socket apapter card, coz i know new PIII runs on 1.6V/1.7V and celeron runs on 2.0V, thanks help

As long as you flash upgrade your BIOS to the latest version (SS I think), you will be fine with any Slot 1 P3, as long as you stick to the 100Mhz bus speed variety. You board DOES have a 133Mhz FSB setting, but it does not have a 1/4 PCI divider, thus at this setting your PCI bus would be 44.5Mhz - too much for most componants to handle!

Your board will support the voltage too.
