In your opinion, what is the fastest athlon xp chip do you think would warrant a processor upgrade to a64? I have a 2400+ that is not overclocked. It runs @ stock speed just the FSB runs @ 166. Do you think this justifies an upgrade?

You dont make sense .. if you PC does everthing that you require then why upgrade 😕
 
Slowest A64 is faster than fastest A XP, but it really depends a lot on what you are doing with your computer. If it's already fast enough for everything you use it for, I wouldn't bother upgrading just to upgrade.
 
I had an Athlon XP 3200+ and I upgraded to a skt754 Sempron 2600+. Much better overclockability and a world of difference in performance.
